The Ins & Outs

The 2011 school year has finally come to an end and everyone is on summer holiday. Over the break our class blog will be closed as I am putting my feet up for a well earned break.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone in 2011 and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! All the best Cloud 9 students for next year and don’t forget to go forth and rock the world!

Yesterday was the last day of school for Cloud 9 at Russell Street. We got up to all sorts of exciting things like CO2 cars, the final flags challenge, class auction and secret santa. Check it out!

Today was ‘The Big Day Out’ for the senior team at Memorial Park. It was extremely hot and full of fun!

It is just about the end of the year and R9 are letting their hair down a little bit. As a reward for all our hard work I have a lot of fun activities planned for the last week of the year. Here’s what’s coming up:

Tomorrow is CO2 Race Day, Tuesday is the class water fight, Wednesday is our trip to Memorial Park, Thursday is Graduation and Friday we have our Class Auction and Secret Santa.

Mixed in with that we have to finish all our Graduation responsibilities (Make a Grad video, hats and posters) and complete Street Talk Episode 20 (The last ever Street Talk!)

This is your last five days at Russell Street School Cloud 9, lets make it a week to remember!

Check out Cloud 9′s finished CO2 Cars! They did an awesome job and I can’t wait to race them on Tuesday!

Today Cloud 9 dug up the time capsule we put in the ground in the first week of school. What did we find when we pulled it up? Nothing but water! Water had leaked through and wreaked our time capsule!

I have put down time capsules with my class for 10 years and this is the first time it has been ruined! We were gutted!

Cloud 9 have been working really hard trying to finish their CO2 cars. Check out some of the early finishers!

I just stumbled upon this cool competition to design a Christmas Logo for the Stuff Website. We have some extremely creative students in our class and I’m sure they will come up with something fantastic!

Wow, Cloud 9 have 3 blogs in the finals of the Edublog Awards! Our Class blog ‘The Ins and Outs’ made the finals of Best Class Blog, Street Talk made it into Best Use of Visual/Audio Media and Zoe’s Blog made it into Best Student Blog!

Edublogs is a world wide Blogging platform and each year they run a competition for the best blogs from around the world. So we are pretty stoked to make it into the finals!!!

Anyway voting has opened and anyone can vote for the winners! So what are you waiting for!!! Click Here to vote for Cloud 9′s three blogs in the Edublog Awards. Today the school road patrol team went into town to celebrate all their fantastic work this year. They got to go in a parade down broadway and a movie at Downtown cinemas.

Our road patrol team have done a wonderful job this year and deserved the special celebration!
