Congratulations Team

Check it out everyone, we have reached 18,000 blog hits! What a great achievement!

When we get to 20,000 hits we are going to have a class party to celebrate. I wonder when that will be?

Gill The Goldfish

Late last week Cloud 9 received a package in the mail from a school in Canada. What was in it? Well they sent us their class mascot (Gill the Goldfish) and a few other Canadian goodies.

The idea is we take care of Gill and show him around our school before sending him back to Canada. They have also sent us a link to their class wiki so we can post pictures and stories of the things he gets up to. If you want to check out the wiki click here!

I think it is going to be a fun little project that will help both classes learn about different places in the world.

Matariki Day

Today at school we had a Matariki day to celebrate the Maori New Year. Check out the photos!

Hands-On Homework

This week’s hands-on homework task is to learn to count to 10 in French. I have been to France a few times myself and have always wanted to learn how to speak French. Also with Alice’s mum Erin heading to France in a few weeks I thought it would be a useful thing to do.

I have attached a video to help you and on Friday I will give you some time in class to show off your new language skills!

So come on everyone, lets get practicing our French!

Street Talk Is On Facebook!

Check it out everyone, I have started a Street Talk Page on Facebook! Street Talk is Cloud 9′s News Show that we make about what is happening at school. Now when we finish an episode we can upload it straight to Facebook for people to watch.

We are always looking for ways to advertise our show and I thought this could be another way.

If you want to check out our page just click here and don’t forget to Like us!

Saturday Morning Netball

Check it out everyone, here is Street Talk Episode 12! Cloud 9 worked really hard putting this together and think it is one of our best episodes yet!

I wonder what you think of it? Should we continue to make Street Talk? Let me know what you think!
