School Tryathlon

On Wednesday 27th February, we will be having a Russell Street School Tryathlon for all students in Years 3-6.

All students will need a roadworthy bicycle and a helmet, togs, towel, sports clothing, water bottle and warm clothes for after the race. If you do not have a bicycle then the student can run that part of the course.

The first race is at 9.20 starting with the Year 3 girls. Races will begin every 7-8 minutes there after.

The event is a Tryathlon which means it is a taster so kids can experience what a triathlon is all about. This means we will not be taking results in Years 3/4. However, we will take results in Year 5/6 and use this information for interschool selection.

Finally, we need additional people to help marshal the course. If you are able to help on the day please contact me ASAP!

Thanks, Stephen
